Shipping a recreational vehicle can be a challenge. They’re bulky, heavy, difficult to maneuver and handle and are definitely too big for a standard car carrier. This means that your recreational vehicle is going to need to be transported on a flatbed auto transport carrier. Flatbed carrier’s aren’t really all that common in the auto transport industry, though there are still plenty enough to get your vehicle picked up within a week to ten days of booking, usually. When you’re talking to your representative about your order, be sure that you have the dimensions of your recreational vehicle on hand and ready to give to your rep if they ask for it. They may not; this is why you should make sure to have them, just in case. You should of course have the full year, make and model of your recreational vehicle prior to contacting your representative. Check out our RV transport services page for more information.
