Relocation Tips: Read the Fine Print

There’s always fine print with any contract you sign, and with auto transportation it’s no different. Many carriers have documentation packets that will require your signature, and knowing what exactly you are signing is important. On the inspection report, you are stating that you agree that all damage represented on the report is accurate, and that you agree by the terms and conditions set forth by the contract in terms of compensation for damage and the like. This is a perfect example of what we mean – many carriers have a deductible on their insurance that they expect you to pay, so you need to definitely read the fine print and watch for things like this.
