Relocation Tips: Clean the Cab

When you’re getting ready for your car transport carrier to pick your vehicle up and transport it, you want to make sure that you clean out the cab of your vehicle prior to it being loaded onto the truck. There are several reasons behind this. For one, carriers are not licensed to carry household goods, and many carriers will not transport any vehicle that has anything household-based in the car. While this normally means things like clothes and boxes, many carriers will go so far as to refuse pickup for trash or loose change. It’s not all that common, sure, but at this point you’re better safe than sorry. Make sure to clean out any trash or personal items out of your vehicle before the carrier picks it up, unless you and the carrier have made specific arrangements for the transport of some of your household goods.
